Happy seventh impact, llamas!

Another year has passed us by and while it's true that we've slowed down a bit, we're still here; doing our thing.
This year, we've set up our very own imageboard, which is working out pretty well; started a last.fm group (yeah, we sold out in less than 45 minutes), and trans even set up a radio; but mostly we just loitered about, as always.

One_of_Nine has recently rejoined us, and get this, he's a TEACHER. TEACHING. Yeah. One of us is instructing young minds.
Trans has been working hard and on occasion, hardly working, while getting pretty damn good with the guitar. He also may or may not have had sexual intercourse with a real live girl. With girl parts.
Zippy's still butchering himself at work; surrounded by hot, drunk, scantly-clad girls of questionable morals. Poor fucking him.
hidde is back to school, but not before getting us to the very edge of notpr0n. Level lambda, baby! Fuck yeah!
Gold pokes his head every so often, I guess they keep them pretty busy in Denmark.
Monkey's dropped in... maybe once. But it's a good thing. When he's the next US president, I'll get to remind him how he skipped making out with a girl to watch an Enterprise episode. Might even get us those F-35s quicker.
I'm still me, workin', poopin', watchin' my animu. Life sucks, but in a good way.

Still, what started as a small experiment has now survived for seven years, some more eventful than others; and that is nothing short of awesome.
Personally, I can't think of a better way or better people to spend them with..... 'cept maybe hot, big-titted women.

Tastyllama now has its own radio! Years after discussing the idea and commenting on the suckiness of ISP worldwide, we have opened our very own radio via SHOUTcast. Our radio mostly plays rock, metal, and a bit of everything else. On occasion you'll hear Moses play the guitar or TV shows and movies. Request for all of the above can be placed in our imageboard. Enjoy!

Alright folks,
seeing as we've pretty much all become chantards lately, we now have an image board.

Presenting our very own /llama/, a Wakaba 3.0.7 board which I've modified somewhat, <3 Perl.

List of the small, but significant, changes:
1. Added 'noko' functionality.
2. E-mail cookie now ignores 'sage'.
3. Added reply-specific thumbnailing limits.
4. Added thread locking functionality.
5. Added our very own Llamachan stylesheet, full of 2.1 and 3 goodies.
6. Removed link in deleted image thumbnail. Made no sense whatsoever.
7. Added maximum image size in rules block.
8. Fixed the broken fields in the Manager Post panel.
9. Trimmed the list in the Spam Panel.
10. Added thread sticky functionality.
11. Changed the javascript slightly to add a newline after a quote.
12. Changed the post links to Yotsuba's method.
13. Added original filenames of images to posts and trimming for long filenames.
14. Post images can now be seen in the Management Panel.

A lot of people (read: none) have asked us how they can join the channel. These are your options:
1. Using the new(!) Web IRC client
2. Installing and using an IRC client such as mIRC (Windows), XChat (*nix) or Ircle (Mac). After which, you do the following:
  2.1 Connect irc.tribbia.net.
  2.2 Join #tastyllama.

And that's about it.

Yep, it's that time of the year (?) and we are looking for more members to join our little commune. So if you're interested, Uncle Llama needs YOU! (points at a bogus direction.)

Requirements:

Computing: At least 6 years internet veteran (you know, before social networking was invented), programming/scripting is a plus.

Pop culture: Must be experienced in movies (preferably science-fiction and cult films,) TV shows (same,) anime (all kinds,) music (alternative genres, that doesn't include that which begins with 'H' and ends in 'ip-hop.')

Physicality: Must have big boobs or love them. (If both apply to you, and you do not have a bulge in your pants, join immediately)

Language: English is a must. Know when to use CAPS and know when to talk l33t. Oh, and know how to type 'you.' It's not that hard.

Nationality: We accept all nations of Earth and Mars. 'cept Iran, fuck Iran.

All rules are subject to change. We accept cash, check, or chicken. The Llama Group is not responsible for mental damage that may occur during participation.

The Sixth Impact is upon us, llamas.
Today, 6 years ago, #tastyllama started as a tiny testing channel. Since then, we've grown... and shrunk.
Our sixth year has been as eventful as it was uneventful. Sad, but true.

A small recap:
Trans dropped Vince McMahon in favour of James Hetfield and is now learning to rock the guitar. He's finally GOT A JOB.
Zippy hates IE as he trudges along his overworked days dealing with stupid people by day and stupider people by night.
hidde is stuck between hilbert space and ?cpsgame as he moves forward in becoming the world's fastest-typing physicist.
Monkey's still on his way to become the next person to screwsave the world in the oval office.
Gold has come back to us and is doing his second degree in Linus Torvalds' hell.
I have been as busy as always, got way deeper into anime and Japanese, just like a regular gaijin otaku, with all the stereotypes that come along.

Indeed, the llamas have certainly made themselves busy these past few months, but worry not, as long as the world has a place for our kind of nutjobs, the llamas will always be around, badly whistling a merry tune.
